Exceptionally adept when it comes to capturing the wide range of human emotion, his provocative visages caricature celebrity, anonymity and hyperreality with equal vigor. From full-scale narratives in relief to appealing freestanding sculptures, Trieger's work never fails to elicit a smile.
Joel Trieger was born in Newton, MA and currently lives in Westchester. He has exhibited widely and produced work for television.
